Gangwon
Overview
Gangwon is one of the most mountainous coastal provinces located in the northernmost portion of South Korea that’s a hop and a skip from Seoul. Because of its geography, it is home to some of the most stunning and thrilling outdoor experiences and many of them gave it the name of”the Adventure Province of Korea.
Gangwon is a province located in the northeastern part of the country, known for its natural beauty and winter sports. The province is home to several ski resorts, including the popular Alpensia and Yongpyong ski resorts. Gangwon is also home to several scenic spots, such as the Seoraksan National Park and the Odaesan National Park.
